Today's Bridal extravaganza is extra special. My best friend Hana is getting married on September 25th and is in desperate need of a wedding dress. I have taken on my dutiful role as best friend and plunged head first into planning and helping out. Silk, tool, beading and embroidery explode at the Bridal Mecca, Kleinfeld. Women from all over the world make Haj to the holy temple and drool over Pnina Tornai, Reem Acra and Badgley Mischka gowns.As we first walked in I remarked " We're in fucking Disney land". I almost caught a bad case of bridezilla, but managed to stay cool calm and collected. I even managed to sneak some shots of Hana, some gorgeous dresses/accessories and one big fat wedding don't .

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN: SAVAGE BEAUTY AT METROPOLITAN MUSEUM of ART

 Alexander McQueen's Savage Beauty Exhibit is one of the most breathtaking exhibits I have ever seen.
The visitor is first greeted by the first two pieces shown. The white dress is made completely of shells and The red dress is of feathers and rhinestones. Mr. McQueen's work takes you on a journey, from constructed blazers to fine silk dresses embossed with mid-century artwork. The exhibit proves he was a true design genius. A must see for the fashion forward.
